DRAMA SCHOOL AUDITIONS

I have been running workshops for various drama schools, collectives and theatres across the UK and abroad for the last decade.  I am in my 6th year working for the National Theatre as a Mentor Director for the NT Connections Festival working with 11-18 year olds and their schools and youth groups across the country. I also run one to one coaching sessions. With over 15 years of directing experience I have a good understanding of what makes a good audition.  I will support you with direction, speech choice, acting through song, vocal support, confidence, interview technique and pre-audition focus.  Auditions should be joyful experiences and they can be when you feel in control.  I will help you to enjoy the experience of auditioning and to view each experience as another step in your learning journey of honing your craft.

If you would like me to run a workshop for you or to have a one on one session please get in touch jemma.gross@gmail.com

I would recommend Jemma and her work anyday and anywhere. Jemma is passionate, committed, thorough, caring and thoroughly professional. Her work is so truthful, interesting and full of vitality, inspiring for actors, writers and audiences alike.
We are so lucky to count Jemma as an advisor at Cygnet and to enjoy her workshops and directing when she is able to visit us.

Cygnet Theatre Actor Training

We loved our first connections year, it has been the pinnacle of everything we have done so far and I want to say that I, personally, have learnt so much from you. It did not go unnoticed or under appreciated how much you identified what the young people needed in a moment and also what we needed.
